Description

A deeply soothing, 30-min brainwave entrainment session to aid with sleep, pain relief and lowering blood pressure. Isochronic tones in the sub-delta range are embedded beneath an ambient soundscape of my voice and electronic keyboard. Delta is the deep, dreamless state where our bodies rejuvenate and heal. Subtle, trance-inducing vocalizations of the Hawaiian prayer of forgiveness, “Ho’oponopono” are woven throughout.

‘Ho’oponopono’ is a profound reconciliation practice. Whenever healing is needed, whether it is within our own bodies, in a relationship with another person or within the state of affairs in our world, we are instructed to open to the place where the hurt resides within us. After identifying this place, we repeat these four statements with as much feeling as we can: I love you. I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you.  

Forgive comes from the Latin word perdonare, meaning to give completely, without reservation. In Aramaic, the word for forgive is shbag and it means to untie. Use this recording to untie from the surface storminess, fall deeply into the well of your own being, the place where by healing yourself, you heal others.

Special Instructions:

For a high quality listening experience and to aid in blocking out external noises and distractions, a good pair of headphones are highly recommended, though not required. Before each session, make sure you are well-hydrated. The brain is 75% water and needs water to function fully and well. Brainwave entrainment is a workout for the brain. Find a quiet, comfortable place to sit or lie down, free of distraction. After starting the session, close your eyes and relax.

Standard precautions regarding the use of brainwave entrainment:

Isochronic tones are a form of audio brainwave stimulation and are deemed as a safe technology to use, but there are certain groups of people and situations where it is contraindicated. These warnings are largely precautionary in nature, because of the lack of research in these areas.

Although there isn’t any scientific research that I know of suggesting isochronic tones can cause a seizure, if you are someone who is prone to them or considered at risk for them, you should consult a doctor or medical professional before using brainwave entrainment with isochronic tones, just to be on the safe side. Also do not use isochronic tones:

  • If you are pregnant or wear a pacemaker.
  • Under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • While driving or operating potentially dangerous machinery.
  • If on any prescribed medication, it is also recommended that you consult a doctor before using it.

    It makes me feel extremely relaxed and I sleep deeper!
    To be honest, I didn’t research the benefits of this session, I simply downloaded it on my smart phone and used my headphone to listen to it, when I went to bed at night when. I was a little bit surprised by how deep I slept, so I tried it for the next few days. It makes me relaxed and very calm and my sleep is deeper. I started to listen to it in the middle of the day when I need to reset or recharge. Then, I read that it a vocalization of the Hawaiian prayer of forgiveness, “Ho’oponopono – I love you, I’m sorry, please forgive me, thank you – and I loved it even more.
